33 Gamma Forums Hack, June 12th

Dear Users,
We recently discovered that an attacker exploited a vulnerability in phpBB to authenticate as a founder account on our forum. The vulnerability has since been patched, and we have taken steps to secure the affected account.
At this time, we have found no evidence that passwords, password hashes, or the forum database were accessed. We have also found no evidence of unauthorized changes to the forum or user accounts.
As a precaution, users who reuse their forum password on other websites may wish to change those passwords. However, based on our investigation, we have no indication that user passwords were exposed.
We are committed to the security of our community and will continue to monitor the situation.
