Do you think collecting physical video games is worthwhile?

I wrote an article on the subject, and would like to hear what other people think. I'd like to add that overall, games have kept up with inflation somewhat. You can go on pricecharting's index page and click any system listed there. Go ahead and expand the chart for that console to list all the years they have records for. You'll find that cartridge based systems have done very well, and some of the disk ones where decent investments as well. But I don't really do this hobby because of the monetary value-- it's more about the enjoyment of having the games and being able to play them when I want to.
