I've come to the conclusion that we need to find our own meaning. For me this can be broken down into physical, mental, and spiritual dimensions. For physical development I work out with dumbbells, go on walks, and do calisthenics like squats and push ups. The mental component is learning and mastering new skills (currently that's getting faster at typing, doing speech therapy, and trying to learn cursive). Spiritually I have gravitated toward Taoism and meditation. I have found some of the practices very relaxing, although I wouldn't recommend combining fasting and Qi Gong, as they produced too much self-reflection all at once.
